Kidnapped

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Sounds adventurous, right? Well, it is true but the book by famous author Robert Louis Stevenson, is not just  adventurous but also is thrilling, suspense creating, pleasure giving, sweet and gives you the sense of a true classic, vivid, summarized literature. The book's recommended for growing children as it is gripping and also helps children to liberate/adopt a pretty good language. Based upon the story of David Balfour, an orphan who is made to be kidnapped by his cruel uncle for the greed of David's inherited property, the novel also reveals to young children, a bad side of the world and to be cautious. Experiencing the hazardous and heart rendering shipwreck with the accompaniment of a devilish person  is amazingly thrilling. With a delightful conclusion, the story makes a place in your heart forever.<br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUqe4JZmcj6KNU8KHS6h2lUIxxxqzwf83fAdQcs7Jj0b1riHK3-hpBqpmhgqCSFQMeLuT4Fx3oyefObAhLb7zwIjd0793f32AXSzANnFGQckpd3oUkjGm9az4bvG6Y9_jSD7eYZniYIavJ/s1600/images.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUqe4JZmcj6KNU8KHS6h2lUIxxxqzwf83fAdQcs7Jj0b1riHK3-hpBqpmhgqCSFQMeLuT4Fx3oyefObAhLb7zwIjd0793f32AXSzANnFGQckpd3oUkjGm9az4bvG6Y9_jSD7eYZniYIavJ/s320/images.jpg" width="205" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="font-size: 13px;">Not the book I read<br /><div><br /></div></td></tr></tbody></table><br />                                                               </div>

Heidi - Complete and Unabridged

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">If you are reading this, you might have already known or should know that there is another review of the same book on this blog. Heidi, by Johanna Spyri is a really wonderful novel and I give it a score of 9 out of 10. A little girl, Adelheid, was lovingly called by all as Heidi and she had no idea of behaving properly before public, until she was forced to learn. She is an orphan who lives with her grandfather, who was very rude and  left behind by the whole of his village in a green meadow with lots of goats and Peter. But her grandpa loved her very much, that he never used to ignore her at any cost. She then goes to another family away from him to a busy town but goes back no sooner. She spends her life with Clara, a paralyzed person; Peter, the shepherd boy; Grandma and Grand mamma(you will know who are they after reading); and many others. She was never disliked by anybody and if someone did, they liked her at last. She was also the reason for the villagers to return to her grandfather again. This book triggered my feelings so much that I never experienced such a lot of emotion even while watching the most emotional movies. Everyone must read!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn25WvZ-bfubZhcFwqY3I0sXt-xUDZNq7rjBwM7FSr7sjcPawkDDzzvxL2AdSeMBNolBgxBKS9CCubGHyL_PiDgLpwt8aXDYSZ_eMKlfuibjpb8aLsUxaE6LfVq2_gHc4KivIneM4gCyM/s1600/temp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn25WvZ-bfubZhcFwqY3I0sXt-xUDZNq7rjBwM7FSr7sjcPawkDDzzvxL2AdSeMBNolBgxBKS9CCubGHyL_PiDgLpwt8aXDYSZ_eMKlfuibjpb8aLsUxaE6LfVq2_gHc4KivIneM4gCyM/s320/temp.jpg" width="212" /></a></div></div>

Around the world in 80 days

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">This book by Jules Verne is incredible with it's gripping story, thrilling language and loads of adventure. The famous classic is very informative too due to it's detailed description about the places Mr. Phileas Fogg visited in order to  win the challenge cum bet he had given to his companions that he could travel all round the world in just 80 days.......Oh! Am I revealing too much? Ok..Let me tell you a bit more. <br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>Nobody knew what Mr. Fogg did ,cause he spoke very little of himself, but everyone was familiar with one thing of his i.e. his commitment.  After starting off, huge difficulties and dangers lay on his way  (well not just troubles but also a few delightful moments .....read to discover) but Mr. Fogg still proceeds with a brave heart, determination and endurance(who would like to lose a twenty thousand pounds and ruin his whole life?:P).The lead(Mr Fogg) uses all means to complete his journey( ship, train, elephant and sledge) . Overall, a fantastic classic novel.<br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5kobM80_lo11wTyeFJ05pq7Fodw4Azqalxb9vhmpKXAzIUVJFRta8D0xypEMZP2vH25Ep29WUABJLsrj2XP07g-pywMToHez58G_5-e0HJ7uAqWpV0bJ0pIlWhlZdnN_cteUIc9pizb0-/s1600/around+d+world+in+80+days.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5kobM80_lo11wTyeFJ05pq7Fodw4Azqalxb9vhmpKXAzIUVJFRta8D0xypEMZP2vH25Ep29WUABJLsrj2XP07g-pywMToHez58G_5-e0HJ7uAqWpV0bJ0pIlWhlZdnN_cteUIc9pizb0-/s320/around+d+world+in+80+days.jpg" width="213" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">not the one I read but an image from google</td></tr></tbody></table>                       <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>                <br /><span style="font-size: x-small;">                                                                      </span></div>

Malgudi Adventures

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Up with another R.K Narayan book which is a collection of short stories  from different works of the author. As always, the descriptive language is to be focussed on. We see lovely characters floating before our eyes as if it were a movie, when one starts reading the bundle of funny as well as gripping pages of the book. The snake charmer boy, with his monkey companion;  Babu, a brother trying to illuminate the house for his sister's Navaratri celebration vanishing the house in darkness; Raju a little boy determined to become a guide after a train station is built in Malgudi, near his home; Balu fidgeting with his father's accounts and puting it into the gutter; Raja, the tiger in a local school; and Chandran who falls in love with some girl on the banks of river Sarayu excite you, entertain you, engage you, and make you chuckle with the additional classic South Indian spice in them. It's a bit edited by the publisher but the 270 paged book with 12 chapters is worth reading.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrHUomgkFYtPPDT-8nblKxMc0Q6OpW5noJFZJyWHN2fAKFiJYwxj3K-_nQRvK_xSSD2AOTfledsZIHH4x4beFHrxHHv6s0tnyX4JucehaVpjkSmlgvOxaIKdwHokdo06r-AIyPQG6isMbi/s1600/malgudi-adventures.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrHUomgkFYtPPDT-8nblKxMc0Q6OpW5noJFZJyWHN2fAKFiJYwxj3K-_nQRvK_xSSD2AOTfledsZIHH4x4beFHrxHHv6s0tnyX4JucehaVpjkSmlgvOxaIKdwHokdo06r-AIyPQG6isMbi/s1600/malgudi-adventures.jpeg" /></a></div>                                                   </div>

Malgudi Schooldays

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">A fabulous book waits for people from all ages  to roll down their eyes on the funny essays written on the growing -up years of Swami, a boy from Malgudi. The classic chronicle is a slightly abridged version of R.K Narayan's Swami and his friends but is brilliantly arranged and includes two other tales of the immortal character, Swami. Swami, Mani, and Rajan become friends and face a lot of incidents together. Tales speak of the little boy and his school teachers, his grandma, his new born brother, and entertain you a lot.  Naughty  Swami also runs away from his house in one of the tales ........What happens after that? Discover it yourself. The author, takes us to a wonderful atmosphere of school boys and help us realize the importance of childhood. I feel lucky to be a school girl after reading the awesome piece of work and recommend everyone to read the book to experience the rich Indian culture, classic and easy writing, beautiful black and white cartoons by R.K Laxman, and the enormous humour content in the book.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRBNUxYeSd2_p0Jjo9dveNk5o6l_Q6JRauWXOgOwP6QUEXcvQmZ0bWA7fUTFHKtiz6zjCtLmq5b4ke3uRnPxWEzqQQvhM4zcBqGJDdrQSyEOuJ_njOYc94lbDqiAneEUv_Ah6DagI90qVu/s1600/_2028535501_malgudi_schooldays.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRBNUxYeSd2_p0Jjo9dveNk5o6l_Q6JRauWXOgOwP6QUEXcvQmZ0bWA7fUTFHKtiz6zjCtLmq5b4ke3uRnPxWEzqQQvhM4zcBqGJDdrQSyEOuJ_njOYc94lbDqiAneEUv_Ah6DagI90qVu/s320/_2028535501_malgudi_schooldays.JPG" width="224" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div></div>

Andersen's Fairy Tales

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Are all fairy tales only made for children? No. Andersen's fairy tales are those which can be enjoyed by almost everyone (they are universal).Language is quite  difficult but gives you the essence of old literature. Hans Christian Anderson is almost known by everyone including those who are not interested in books. The book I am writing about is a set of enchanting stories from the well known author's works and delighted me when I read it. The collection includes <b><u>The  Fir Tree,The Swineherd, The Rose Elf, The Story of the year, The Storks,The ugly duckling, The wild Swans, The emperor's new clothes, The Real princess</u></b> and 14 other tales with non-coloured illustrations. I am not giving any description of any of the stories as I expect you all to read them and identify the specialities you find in the magical and poetic essays of the stories.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA2om7UU6VQDPfVna2CvyZLubtw8LQyGFSDiCV39eIRQi-mbV4abB8lFcfSWb0fukTeGkT12bQol32wC0wGDAiQyioBtl0rI79qkjV9ZW7VfA4i0qEZ84GZv2ontdWA1SZhK9oNNUmqVjb/s1600/Andersons+Fairy+Tales.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA2om7UU6VQDPfVna2CvyZLubtw8LQyGFSDiCV39eIRQi-mbV4abB8lFcfSWb0fukTeGkT12bQol32wC0wGDAiQyioBtl0rI79qkjV9ZW7VfA4i0qEZ84GZv2ontdWA1SZhK9oNNUmqVjb/s320/Andersons+Fairy+Tales.JPG" width="210" /></a></div>                                               </div>

Three Men In A Boat

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Jerome. K. Jerome has a book to offer to you-Three Men in a Boat. The book is not as impressive as I expected it to be. The language is monotonous and didn't encourage me to stick to the book.  Still I did finish it. It is quite obvious that the writer has tried to to induce a lot of humour in a simple truthful manner  in the piece of work but has put it in a way that is difficult to interpret. The sales of this book has exceeded a million but I still  felt while reading the book that the prolonged texts bored me. The incidents in this are true and the thing that is to be appreciated without fail about this book is  the description of the tour on River Thames that the book revolves around. It can act like a travelogue for few.The three leading characters of the book are George, Harris and Montomerency, the most irritating dog ever. According to the author the book's hopeless and incurable veracity cannot be surpassed by any other thing discovered. The story teaches a lesson and if after reading the novel you discover it, you are lucky .<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia8ev6j_U7vrIAx0HYeHVpigMW6WsfF8Rh6NFOzbg1EKdBTy-_noxdCr1xjZi3ZvPcsKDTm5qwMNHGxYeq8i_7HnNMMJJJJMFnhuAu-niirLl92s4gO64EQHKNLK5VvR_ThNLqd78G7_XZ/s1600/boat.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia8ev6j_U7vrIAx0HYeHVpigMW6WsfF8Rh6NFOzbg1EKdBTy-_noxdCr1xjZi3ZvPcsKDTm5qwMNHGxYeq8i_7HnNMMJJJJMFnhuAu-niirLl92s4gO64EQHKNLK5VvR_ThNLqd78G7_XZ/s320/boat.jpg" width="198" /></a></div></div>
