not the book I read
Though the extraordinary autobiography, by Helen Keller is not entertaining, but the great depth of the book is felt by one and all. As one turns page by page, the book unveils the different phases of Helen's life, who was left blind, deaf and mute due to an illness in infancy.
Helen reading Anne's lips
In my view the last 2 chapters among the 23 chapters were the best as they gave me a sense of what it's like to be a breathing human being. Also I felt that the language and story grew more matured and enchanting as Helen grew up ( in the book). A person reading the book is surely to get deeply moved when he/she comes to know how the unforgettable lady overcame her disabilities, her affection towards all the people who loved her and gifted to her the feeling of warmth and sympathy, Miss Anne Sullivan being the foremost (her devoted teacher).
I was amazed to read how focussed the remarkable 20th century woman was towards achieving her goal  to be able to talk, inspite of her being blind and deaf, and to do all other things that a normal human could do. She also graduated herself. Her positivity impressed me.
The deeply moving memoir  portrays one of the best persons the world has ever seen and maybe will ever see.
