This can be the greatest feast for all young Ruskin Bond fans with lots of juicy short stories. Though the language doesn't improve much of your vocabulary but the vivid writing must be noted. At his sixties too the prolific writer, Ruskin Bond continues writing in his typical style, keeping pace with the generation and entertaining millions. Exellently illustrated, this collection of short stories are few amongst the best of this popular writer's works. It includes the famous Grand father's private zoo, a favourite among little children and Dust on the mountains, a recent outlet but a lovely one. While the Angry River, and The Blue umbrella play the main lead in the book other stories like The road to the Bazaar, The Ghost trouble, and Cricket for the Crocodile add the finishing touches to the altogether superb book.
