The language used is somewhat informal, but has a great sense of meaning in it.<br /><br />The story sets out during the season of <i>Easter,</i> with seven members and a dog belonging a secret society (as I have mentioned earlier <a href="http://heavybookreview.blogspot.in/2014/01/go-ahead-secret-seven.html">here</a>) who are very eager to solve problems that create problems to the pubic. They lose their meeting place and start looking for a new one, eventually finding many locations including an old hut, a boat house, a caravan and a cave. They decide to vote, and choose the secret cave as their meeting place, but are unaware of the actual history of that place.<br /><br />They find the cave very '<i>secret</i>' and inconspicuous, and enjoy the sand-covered, cold floor. They bring in their things and enjoy a few 'hidden' days. But after some time, their books and food start disappearing. They set traps near the entrance to catch the unknown intruder, but still continue to find their things stolen surprisingly without any disturbance to their trap.They then find an evidence! A book left by the intruder, which was recognized to be a diary of a person named <i>Albert Tanner</i>.<br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.enidblyton.net/secret-seven/seven-walking.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="123" src="http://www.enidblyton.net/secret-seven/seven-walking.gif" width="320" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Walking Seven</td></tr></tbody></table><br />They start searching the countryside for any clues. Written by Enid Blyton, published in 1953, this simple adventure story continues to mesmerize the readers. This wonderful book is the 5th of 15 full-length stories written containing the Secret Seven.<br /><br />The series is about a secret society consisting of 7 members: Peter, Janet, Jack, Barbara, George, Pam and Collin. A dog named Scamper is always with them. The organisation's prime aim is to solve cases regarding absolutely anything interesting! In this book, the Secret Seven are assigned duties to follow, shadow and characterize people by Peter, the leader. Trying to do the same, some members fall in serious trouble. Series of interesting events go on, which I would not prefer to reveal.<br /><br />A mysterious person is followed, and the Secret Seven understand that he is responsible for the disappearance of many different types of dogs in the locality. They discover a secret coal-hole in a filthy, small area, and decide to explore it. As they explore the interior of the coal-hole, they discover many dogs moaning in despair.<br /><br />Read this book to discover what happens next. Will they present freedom to all the groaning dogs, or will they entirely lose their own freedom. The language used is a bit different from many other novels, but is definetly a lot better than the language in which <a href="http://heavybookreview.blogspot.in/2012/12/gullivers-travels.html">Gulliver's Travels</a> was written!</div>

Mr. Pink Whistle Interferes

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Fond memories of this book are left behind in my mind. One fine day, when I was 11, I happened to pick this book up from the shelves of my school library and I think that that decision of mine was very fruitful. Would you like to know why? It's because ,before the event took place in my life, I had least interest in my library class and would always be busy chatting with my buddies.<br />By now you might have guessed that, at that point of time I just fell in love with this book due to it's short and sweet stories revolving around Mr Pink Whistle whom I consider a super hero even now.<br />The stories speak about Mr. Whistle, an imaginary character drawn by Enid Blyton, who intervenes into the lives of unfortunate children and changes them altogether. <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div style="text-align: left;"><br />  You all must have heard about "The Famous Five" written by Enid Blyton . I read this book last year, when I was in 8th class. This is the 4th book in the series : Five Go To Smuggler's Top. This is a mysterious and adventurous story. The story starts off with  four children (Julian, Dick, Georgina & Anne) and a dog named Timmy. Julian, Dick, George, Anne and Timmy the Dog meet once again to begin, what they believe to be, a 'normal' summer holiday. Meeting at George's home, the first night doesn't quite go to plan; a terrible storm leaves the household in turmoil as a tree falls on the property. Worried that they may not be able to spend their holiday together, George's father, the formidable Uncle Quentin, solves the problem, by sending them to Smuggler's Top, home to a professional colleague of Quentin's, Mr. Lenoir. Arriving at Smuggler's top, not at all as it seems and they soon find themselves caught in a twisted plot.<br /><br />  When they reach smuggler's top,they find many suspicious things happening around them. Then they start their adventure solving each mysterious thing happening around them. It is simply sweet, and innocently fun - isn't that what childhood is meant to be? For those of you that are familiar with the Famous Five novels, they pretty much follow a similar plot; the children go on their holidays, find something is wrong, investigate and explore, till the plot reaches it's climax, usually with the children facing a bad predicament and finally it being resolved and everyone is back together at the end.<br /><br />  When I read this book, I found it very exciting, gripping and definitely my favourite out of the Famous Five Series, so much that I re-visited the book very often. <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">"The Adventures of Mr Pink Whistle(Happy Days)"was read by me at the age of 10 from my school library and it perfectly suited/blended with my age as this book by Enid Blyton is a bundle of pages which can be enjoyed by children the most, With lots of magic and fantasy it tells you different short stories revolving around Mr Pink Whistle who has the special capability of  turning invisible whenever he wants to. Using this special God given gift , he does nothing except good to good people as well as animals. Mr Whistle is an elf who has a jet black cat, loves children and spreads happiness. So all my dear readers of this blog aged below 11 tighten your seat belts and here is a wonderful book for you all to ride through and I'm sure that like me even you'll start adoring Mr Whistle after your jolly ride is finished.
