Written by Daniel Defoe, Retold and Illustrated by Aakriti Features, I felt that this retold version was too short, for it only had 200 pages, and 100 of them completely illustrated. However, a lot of adventures were covered in these little number of pages. The story is about Robinson Crusoe, who always wanted to go into the sea, but was stopped by his parents. It so happened that when he was 18 years, he ignored his parents and went out to the sea, and became a puppet in Pirates hands. He escapes from the pirates somehow but lived happily only for a short period of time. He then goes to sea again, but gets lost in a deserted island as the only survivor of the Shipwreck. He lives many years writing his diary, rearing goats and growing crops. After 20 years, he discovers cannibals on the island. Many adventures go on until he scares away the cannibals out of the place. He returns to his home in England on 19th December 1686, after 35 years. I recommend complete version.
