Next book in the Wimpy Kid series, written by Jeff Kinney. It deals with a dog that is not liked by anyone in the Heffley family. When Greg's father was small, he used to have a dog, which got lost into a butterfly farm. Later Greg's grandpa reveals the bitter truth to his father, that the dog what accidently stomped by grandpa's car. He made a story of it getting lost so that Greg's father won't feel sad. But as grandpa expected, his dad did not take it as a joke, instead, he brought a new dog from the shop. This book is quite different from the others, as it deals with Greg's life in Summer Holiday. His mother starts to make a 'Summer Photo Album', but ends up putting all false stuff in that. You should read to find out more. Also, it contains an exclusive extract from Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth. As usual, his best friend Rowley parts but later befriends him again.
