Adventures of Robin Hood

Everybody's choice differs. The book Adventures of Robin Hood did not impress me as much as other books in my collection did. The factors which drove me not to like the book, though this is the most famous work of the author, Roger Lancelyn Green, include the difficult language used and that I was unable to visualise the events of this book (was not able to get involved into the incidents taking place in the novel and feel that I'm a part of the book). Many other people adore the novel, so I recommend you to read the 295 pages novel. It may convince readers who enjoy old style of literature. The story is interesting and revolves around Robin Hood, the legendary outlaw hero who robs rich people to fulfill the needs of the poor and needy with his wife Maid Marian and the group of Merry men in the huge forest of Sherwood. He meets many good friends on his journey of life including Friar Truck, Will Scarlet, Little John and more.Read the classic tale as you may be lucky enough to appreciate the author's work.
